Equity, debt, IPO & VCBiographyMichael Frankel has spent his career at the
intersection of transactions, technology, and growth,
sourcing and negotiating more than 110
strategic transactions representing over $30 billion
in deployed and raised capital.
As Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Trajectory Capital, he leads growth-equity investments in B2B enterprise software, partnering with founders and management teams on the operational work that follows the deal: go-to-market focus, capital allocation discipline, and inorganic growth strategy.
Before founding Trajectory, he held senior leadership roles at Deloitte, LexisNexis, Circana, GE, and VeriSign, repeatedly building corporate development, strategy, and innovation functions from the inside. That work spanned acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and equity, debt, IPO, and venture financings, and it shaped a conviction that the strongest dealmakers are operators first.
He is the author of three books on M&A and innovation, serves on public and private company boards, and speaks frequently on M&A, corporate development, and growth strategy.
